Now the title "Norton" just sits above the ribbon whereas 2007 it was a whole toolbar itself and it would go the same route as the Hightail pug-in.Here are some suggestions I came across in another discussion.
My Norton Anti-Spam plug in seems to stay above the ribbonĪnd has yet to disappear, but it was a different setup in Outlook 2007 and it disappeared there. I wish someone would tell me why they keep doing this. The plug-ins just don't want to stay on or in the toolbars once you shut down. I have had that problem running the same plug-in with Outlook 2007. I am able to go to COM-add-ins and un-check the Hightail box, close Outlook, re-open it and re-check the box and it will come back, but that is not the way it's supposed to go. It doesn't go to disabled it just disappears. The problem arises when I close Outlook and log back in. I am using Outlook 2010 with the Hotmail connector. It used to be "You Send It" a plug in for Outlook to send oversized attachments. I have an add-in that is called Hightail.
